FROM RUSSELL MARTIN & DEBORA SALIEGO...

Hello, everyone!

Russell (Secody) Martin and I are looking forward to getting reacquainted with everyone next August. Russell and I have been married for 11 years and have been together 19 years. We moved back to Page a few years ago after living in the Mesa-Chandler area for 16 years. We both received our Engineering Degrees from ASU and worked in the semiconductor industry as engineers for nearly 10 years. When our son, Hunter, was born a few years ago, we decided to move back so that our son would have an opportunity to better understand and appreciate our Dine' culture and tradition. Moving back to Page was an adjustment for all of us. We got used to the convenience a big city provides and we're slowly getting re-adjusted to the small-town life. Russell has been working for NGS for over a year now and truly enjoys his new job. He says it's not as demanding as being a full-time dad. Before that, he was a stay-at-home dad for 2 years while I worked for ARAMARK as an Environmental Director. Now, it's my turn to stay home with our son. I'm enjoying my new professional title as "Hunter's Mom." We're definitely looking forward to the '06 reunion and we hope to see a lot more of our Dine' classmates this time around. The last reunion was a lot of fun! See you next August!!

Debora

p/s Rho, Ronnie, Tammy, Faith, Marie, Brenda, Kerrie, Connie, Mari, Trixie, etc. -- I'm anxiously awaiting your postings!!!

FROM DEBORAH AUSTIN...

Hi Everybody!

It's nice to read up, as well as see everybody who posted a picture. I'm looking forward to the reunion! Sorry I didn't make it to the 10 year! I remember trying to get addresses for Lori and Kim.

Stan and I are now "Livin' on a corner in Winslow, AZ" and are enjoying 'our together' time. I'm currently working for Wells Fargo Bank as a Teller and it's nice to come back to a company I'm familiar with. Stan is employed with Arizona Public Service/Cholla Power Plant, and his job is the reason for the move to Winslow 3 1/2 years ago. He's worked with a couple of my classmates over the years in the power plant industry, so he's acquainted with some of you out there.

Our Son, Matthew, is now 21 years old and is currently living in Flagstaff with his girlfriend Anna. He's taking the semester off and is working. He will continue his education this January. He's a 2nd generation PHS Alumnus! Class of 2003! He's my only child, and is my "pride and joy!" I do have my little girls though; Aimee, our 11 yr. old Siamese cat, and Bo, our 12 yr. old REZ Dog. She's a good dog.

Since living in Page for most of my life, I've seen quite a bit of our classmate come home to visit and come home to stay to raise their own families. I've been fortunate to also be a part of their lives; weddings, new additions, MS & HS graduations, kid's birthdays, sporting events and just every day life. I've seen the list of missing classmates, and I'm certain I will be able to find more than a handful of them. I'm going up to Page today and I'll see who I can find to get information to. 'The Navajo Times' will be helpful too! I told Brady I will shoot an email to the NT regarding the reunion. By the way, for those of you who don't know... the picture of Stan and I was taken at our Navajo Nation's capital in Window Rock.

It's good to hear from those of you who posted your information! Keep the pictures coming!

MORE FROM KIM MAUL...

I finally found my pictures from our trip to Lake Powell. We had a wonderful time on the Lake and showing the girls where I grew up.

Kim Warner (Maul)

POSTED OCTOBER 23, 2005...

Wow, this is so very cool! I cannot beleive how many Pageites have been located. I am enjoying reading everyone's postings and seeing the photos. It does not feel or seem like it has been almost 20 years.

My family and I live in Highland Village, Texas and have for 11 years. Yes, Lori Morrow and I ended up in the same location which has been wonderful. I graduated from the University of Arizona with a business degree then went back for my teaching certificate after Lonny and I were married. I did work for a couple of years before children but then stayed home for the next 9 years to be a Domestic Engineer! I have been back teaching kindergarten for 3 years so I know have 2 jobs - teaching and domestic engineer.

Lonny and I have had an amazing and blessed marriage for almost 15 years. We have 3 beautiful girls, Goldie (girl dog) and Laces (girl cat). Poor Lonny is doomed with a house full of women. Our oldest Katelyn is 11 and just started middle school (sixth grade). Emma is 9 and in fourth grade and our baby Sarah is 7 and in first grade.

I would love to see everyone next summer but the August time frame is not good with back to school. We start August 4th (teachers) and the students August 12th. My principal would never okay missing school the first week or so. Maybe we can consider
late July?????

Lonny and I still love to ski and boat. We have raised the girls to love the water as much as I did. We actually took the girls to Page this summer and rented a houseboat and brought our ski boat with us. Our oldest loves to wakeboard, Emma is enjoying one ski and Sarah learned how to ski at Lake Powell which is a fond memory for me. It was amazing to see the water level compared to what it was like in 1986. Even though it was low we still enjoyed the lake and even made it up to Rainbow Bridge. If I can figure out how to post a picture, I will post one from our trip to Powell.

Take care and hopefully I will get to see everyone in 2006.

MEMORY BOOK...

Hello again! Just wanted to let everyone know that I am working on putting together a Memory Book that everyone can purchase at the reunion. However, I need your cooperation. I would like everyone to either e-mail photos to me or if you would like to send me a copy by snail mail you can do that. I will be able to return any prints at the reunion. Those who would like to participate in this book please send me some photos from the past 20 years, please limit these to about 3 or 4, and then if you have any pictures from High School Days, that would be great too. Also, Brandi and I are going to put together a slide show, so we will be using those photos for that too. So, please send us your photos!! If you can e-mail them, send to rcaagray@yahoo.com or Snail mail to:

FROM DARREL HAMMOND...

"I now live in Chandler, AZ with my wife (Robin) and three children (Olivia, Margaret and Gabriel). Let me know what additional information you need from me. Let me know how to post a message on your blog...my personal e-mail is dwh_az@yahoo.com.

Darrel Hammond
Chandler, AZ"

More to be posted soon...he's been sent a blog posting invite.

FROM RICHARD BERRY...

Can somebody tell me why all these old people are writing to me? I thought it was a mistake until Brady posted a picture of me.

Geez what happened? we were gonna stay young forever weren't we.

It is great to hear form all of you. I am happy that everybody is doing well and hopefully healthy.

I want to especially thank Lori (Yucker) for becoming a grandparent before me. (Woo Hoo!)

I think I was the second youngest in our class but I was the first parent of our class.

My little guy is now a college kid in Nevada and My wonderful wife Robin and I have two new ones. Jasmine 4 and a half and Cassidy 2 and a half. This picture is a year old. Sorry its as current as it gets. I'm sure you all can relate.

Like Tony I also wanted to a bigger challenge in my career so I also entered the law enforcement business two years ago after working for 15 years with a private company. I definitely got the challenge I was looking for.

I have lived in Flagstaff since getting out of the Marine Corps in 1990. As most of you all know Robin is my second marriage. Lori, It gets much better so hang in there. I met Robin in 1992 and in a few short years she broke me down and we were married in 1998. It has been a wonderful experience and I am very glad that I married my best friend.

Enough of the sappy stuff. I regret not making it our tenth reunion so I'm definitely in for our twenty!

Randy, that was too funny! Ron's gonna kick your butt for that one!

I guess I can tell the search party that Chuck's been found.

Take care,
Richard Berry

FROM MICHELLE GUSTAFSON...

Hello!!! This is great! It is interesting to see who is where and it is even more amazing many of us ended up in Tucson, yet I haven't seen anyone of you.

I moved to Tucson after graduating from NAU in 1990 (Accounting and Business Mgmt). I met my husband at NAU and we chose Tucson to be near his family. We just celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary, and have 2 beautiful twin girls, Alexis and Jordyn. They are 13 and in the 8th grade at a private catholic school. They are identical, tho nothing like Hope and Chloe in that they wouldn't be caught dead in the same outfit - ever! Haven't been to Page since my parents moved in 1988. After the girls were born they moved from Flagstaff to Tucson to be closer to the grandkids. My father passed in '96, and my mom lives just a few miles away. We have 2 dogs, a cat, a fish, and a desert tortoise. Andy was stuck in an estrogen-fest until we got Cooper, our Golden Retriever. He was absolutely the best dog ever..until this morning when I found that he had eaten Jordyn's new adidas for breakfast!

I am currently an Area Manager for Eddie Bauer, getting ready for my 15th retail holiday season (ugh!). Bauer is great in that it allows a lot of flexibility to be with the girls. We live our lives on a softball field, as Andy and I coach the girls' year-around softball team. We juggle that with basketball and volleyball depending on the season. Both girls love softball and the weather here allows for year around play, but Jordyn cannot wait to see her name in lights playing basketball at McKale Center at the U of A. The girls obviously did not get their athletic abilities from their mother! Alexis is a bit more of a free spirit. She is the child my father wished upon me years ago. I believe that was after a late night at Lone Rock and coming home with a Jeep full of sand.

Am looking forward to the reunion, as we didn't make the 10th one. It is great to see everyone's pictures and their families!

Take care,

Michelle Ortiz

FROM TONY SORENSEN...

This is GREAT! Thanks for getting the ball rolling Brady. Good job you contributors. This will be an excellent reunion.

We are now in Bakersfield, California. I have been here for just over a year. I don't make a lot of money right now, but I can at least say that I am no longer bored out of my mind. I had a midlife crisis about two years ago and changed careers from software engineering with Novell, after nearly 10 years, to law enforcement. My wife has been very supportive of my not-so momentary lapse of reason, which included a massive pay cut, long hours, low pay and 17 weeks of solo parenting while dad went off to training. Despite all this, we celebrated our 15th anniversary this past spring.

We have 6 beautiful kids. It took 5 tries to get my boy and then his little brother ended up being a yet another girl. She is now a 2 ½ year old monster. The child is into everything, she's a virtual tornado with more attitude than the other five combined!! If she would have been born first she would have been an only child. My oldest started high school this year and made me feel really old.

Well it is now nearly 1:00 am and I just got done watching those poor Astros lose game three at home and I need to get to work in the morning. I will update this with photos and a little more info later.

It is great to hear from you all and see your photos. Some of you look better than ever. Cindy, Brandi, Lori, Doris you girls are all looking great, and even more important you all look HAPPY!

Take Care, Tony tksorensen@yahoo.com

When trying to find a photo of the whole fam, I realized that we don't have any recent photos with all of us. Mom and I are always on the other side of the camera. Time to get a family picture done!!!
Here is a photo of all six of the yahoos at their favorite place in the world a couple months ago.

FROM CINDY GLADU...

Greetings from Grand Junction, Co. It is so great to hear about what everyone has been doing the last 20 years! Wow! I have lived in Grand Junction for 5 years. After moving here I decided to go back to school and have been working on my Elementary Education Degree the last 4 years and I graduate next year! I have two kids, Anthony 10 and Alexa 6. I have been married for 12 years to my absolutely wonderful husband Rick Gray. He recently went back to school and is working on a business degree. Can't wait to see everyone!

FROM MARK JONES...

Greetings!! I can't believe how fast the past 20 years have passed. It has been fun reading all of your posts and remembering faces and names I haven't heard in a long time. I am glad that life has been good to so many of you and am also looking forward to seeing you all again, if I can make it. We sure did have a great class, didn't we?

I live in northeast Mesa now and have been married for 13 years. Laura and I have 6 children that keep us going in every direction. Heather is 11, Bryson 8, Afton 6, Brandt 4, Jonathon 2, and Emma 6 months. They are fun and definitely make life worth living.

I graduated from ASU with a bachelor's in English and from NAU with a masters in Education Administration and have been teaching seminary for the past 13 years, currently working as the seminary principal at seminary next to Red Mountain High School. I guess someone had to carry on the Jones family tradition. My parents still live in Page, but my Dad finally retired this past July after being the seminary teacher there for over 30 years, as many of you know. We still make it up there a few times a year to see them and my brothers, who are scattered around the west.

It would be easier for me to have a reunion around the end of July, or the first part of August too, because of school.

REUNION DATES:

VOTE PLEASE! Please be sure to vote on the proposed dates in the "REUNION POLL" (within the column to the right).

So far, August was the majority vote. However, now that we are reaching more and more classmates, we are hearing that mid-August can be tough with kids starting school at that time.
We want to be sensitive to those that have kids/school issues. We will ultimately go with a clear majority (as long as there are hotel rooms) since we can't possibly accommodate everyone's needs. Even if you voted on the classmates website or emailed me personally, please vote again on this site. It will really help us keep track! In an effort to compromise, perhaps the last weekend of July or the 1st weekend in August will work? That might help out those with kids starting school. We just want a well attended reunion!

This is a shot of me with my step-daughter, Ashley!
Thanks!!!

FROM LORI YUCKER...

"Hi everybody...After numerous failed attempts, I have been humbled beyond belief that I can't do this blogging thing! So - I only teach Kindergarten. Is that a good excuse? Anyway - yes, I am in my 13th year here in the west valley teaching K and loving every minute of it.

I am married with a darling 3 year old princess and 2 older step sons. One is in the Air Force, stationed in Afghanistan right now. The other is in the Army and will be going to Iraq in the winter. He has a wife and baby. So - yes, put 2 and 2 together - your youngest class member is also a grandma (BUT - by MARRIAGE only)!!!

What else? We love doing family stuff and spend most of our free time at church. We're both on the board, and my husband went back to school at Phoenix Seminary after retiring from the Marines after a long dedicated 20-year career. It is very inspiring to see him doing this on faith after so many years of not doing the school thing.

My Page family is doing well. My dad is retired and now busier than ever. My mom is working 3 jobs and loving it. They also take care of my grandma now. She still gets around well and was able to go with us to Disneyland over the fall break. My sister, Julie, lives in Tucson and drives for SW Ambulance and works at Tony Romas.

Other past tidbits: graduated with a business degree from UofA (go Wildcats!), lived in WA state for awhile with my 1st husband, Erik (who was at 10 yr reunion), worked in medical admin up there, went back to school at UW for teaching certificate, moved back to AZ, got master's degree in education, lived all over the valley of the sun, was a foster mom for 4 years to 10 children ...........and here comes the happily ever after! (see paragraph 2!!!) Whew! I am completely enjoying this calm part of life!

Can't wait to see ya'll! If you haven't been back, be prepared for the lake to look WAY different! We go up every summer at least a couple of times ... and it has been pretty low. Ok - that is way enough. Thanks for reading this far. Above is a picture of my family on Mother's Day 2005.

Hello from Maricopa Az. Well this is what 20 years has done to me. I've been married to my beautiful/wonderful wife Heidi for 8 years. We have 3 great boys that keep us on our toes. I work for Arizona Public Servic as a communications technician and I work out of Casa Grande as the Southeast region IT rep. I still see alot of Pageites that live down in the Valley now. Ron Harrison is a great friend of our family. We see each other all the time. In fact I was the first to make fun of his picture on his post. If SRP doesn't work out Ron has a great future with JC Penney. Just kidding buddy. We love ya. I'll be waiting for a comeback. Ron has plenty of ammo on me. Well I'm real excited to see everyone from '86. (The best class Ever)

FROM TRAVIS ANDERSON...

Hello from Medina, OH!

It's hard to believe that it has already been almost 20yrs. Where did all of the time go? After school I joined the Navy and had a blast (well, not all the time, but quite a bit of it!). After I made E-7 in 1996 and given the talk about reducing retirement benefits, I decided it was probably best to venture out into the real world.

I got married and divorced while I was in the Navy...all that sea time is definitely not good for the marriage...and when I got out, I moved to Ohio to be close to my son (he is 16 now). It turns out that was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Shortly after moving to Ohio, I met the most wonderful woman on earth and we have been married for 5 years now. No kids yet, not unless you count our Australian shepard and Russian Blue cat as kids!

I've been working in the manufacturing service sector since I got out of the service and now have a degree in IT. I'm currently a plant manager for an international company called Iron Mountain (www.ironmountain.com). Again, hit the jackpot here...IM is an awesome company (rare these days) and I enjoy going into work "most" of the time.

All this and only 25mins from Tribe home games...Life is Good!

Anyway, best way to catch me is using tanderso@zoominternet.net or traviswanderson@nextel.blackberry.net. The first email is a personal address, but it, as well as my work email, all gets forwarded to my blackberry.

Not sure if I will be able to attend the reunion, but I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone!!

Travis

PS. After seeing all the pictures posted, am I the only one who got the bad hair gene!?! :(
FROM LORI BURTON...

Hi from Dallas! It's been so fun looking at everybody's pics and reading up on how things are going. I have lived in the Dallas area for 15 years. I have 3 children, Emily 11, Tyler 9, Matthew 6. Doug and I, after almost 15 years, are ending our marriage...so it looks like I will be soloing it to the reunion next summer. I've been in the fitness industry since college and currently direct the Group Exercise Program at a health club near my home.

Some of you have asked about my parents...they live in Oklahoma City where they both still teach school. My dad, just this year, retired from coaching football! He's not too sure what to do with all of his free time. But, they are doing great and I see them very often. My sister, Lynn, lives in Idaho with her husband and daughter.

I have been really bad about keeping in touch with classmates and I'm so happy that somebody else is planning the reunion this time!! I will be happy just to show up! The only ones I keep in touch with are Kim Warner (Maul) and David Sharp. So, it will be great to catch up with everybody. I sure miss beautiful Lake Powell!! See you summer of 06!!

FROM DAWN APODACA...

Hi everyone! I'm not much of a computer person, I only do the minimum required. (I'd rather talk on the phone.) I do have to admit this is pretty cool, though. I live in Denver with my husband and 16 year old son, who is getting ready to start driving, SCARY!!! I remember those days so well. Malinda and I used to lie to my mom and tell her she had her license when she really didn't so we could take the car. There are just toooooo many cool stories to think of from way back then. I wouldn't have enough room for them all. Those were the days! I had a blast at our 10th (miss ya-Jason and Kim!). We had an afterhours party at my mother's house like back in the day. Can't wait for the 20th! Within the past 2 months I've talked to quite a few people from Page who live in Denver also. We all need to get together here too! If anyone is out visiting this way, get ahold of me, I'd love to see ya. Take care and keep in touch!

FROM DORIS MOIL...

Hello everyone, I am a Registered Nurse with Banner Baywood Medical Center. I was in Glendale at Thunderbird until 2 years ago when I met the love of my life (the rocker guy) and moved to Mesa, AZ. I will be marrying him in August of next year. We would love to take a few days to go to the reunion. This December I am going to visit my parents, who have moved back to Chile. I have one daughter, she is 15, three mutts, and a beautiful kitty. I will also be coming into 6 step-children. Unfortunately, all but one are grown up. Hope to see everyone soon.

FROM TRACI PORTER

Aloha everyone! I've been in the Air Force for fifteen years - five more years and I can retire. Woohoo! I've had some pretty good assignments during my career. I was stationed in Northern Germany for two years, Omaha, Nebraska, for five (it actually wasn't that bad), back to Germany for seven years, and I've been in Hawaii for just over a year. I work with computers (Network Warfare Operations).

I've been married for thirteen years to my very cool husband, Mark. We met at my first base. He's prior Air Force. Our daughter Darian is nine. We have a dog, a cat, and a beta fish. We enjoy riding our motorcycles, going to the beach, and traveling.

I'm looking forward to the reunion next summer. I wasn't able to make it to the last one because I was very pregnant with my daughter and couldn't fly.

FROM ANN STRINGFELLOW...

Hi everyone! Wow, its been 20 years and I can't seem to remember where the time went! I am married to Mike Ronan (PHS Class of '85) and we have 4 kids (ages 15, 13, 10, and 6). We live in Firestone, Colorado, about 25 miles NE of Denver. I work for a Human Factors Engineering Firm in Boulder, doing discrete modeling and documentation for the software tools that we build. The company I work for has lots of great perks and is pretty flexible and understanding about helping me balance work with my kids' many activities.

My parents are still in Page for the time being, and we do get back there from time to time. We had a pretty good time at Mike's reunion this past August, and the kids are looking forward to going back next summer. If anyone ever gets up I-25 past Denver, look me up...we'd love to see you.

Hello everyone!!
Found this blog by an email that was sent to me on classmates late last night. It sure it great to see and hear from more pageites.
In any event, Cindy Gray (Gladu) and I were going to offer up our skills and help plan our 20 year reunion. We surely didn't realize that Shawn Oman was already in charge of planning the event. (Sorry Shawn, not trying to step on your toes) My personal interest in our reunion, (other than seeing all you old folks...) is that I never received an invite to the 10 year. Cindy and I really want to find as many classmates as we can. If you decide not to attend, that is your choice, but we want to invite everyone we can locate. I also have 15 years in event planning and catering sales... So we will contact Shawn and find out where he is in the planning process. We may be able to join forces. If not, I will still attend the 20 year and plan to see you all there!

In the meantime, we had already established some communication on the classmates website. We realize that not everyone is a fan of that site and hates all the spam that classmates sends out. I just purchased a membership for the sheer sake of communicating with the other classmates on the site for the reunion. We have heard from several that posted on the site and some just emailed me personally. We started a quick survey to find out what ideas, events you all would like incorporated into the 20 year. (once again, sorry Shawn)
Just like many of you mentioned on this blog, August 2006 seems to be the overwhelming response as far as a date. The best weekend for most people was August 11-13th.
Here is the classmates reunion page link:

Me, me me.... Well, living in Denver, CO and married to a fab guy with one stepdaughter and one dog. We may add to our family in the near future (but that is a whole other topic). The fab guy is the Director of Engineering for a firm in Broomfield, CO. We actually just moved into our brand new house a few weeks ago. We are in the Southeast suburbs of Denver. When we get the landscapers to put in our yard, I will post some pictures. A few years ago, I left the exhausting world of hotels and event planning and went back to school. I am now an esthetician. I own my business for facials and skin care. I like the control of making my own hours. (not possilble when you plan events)
We travel quite a bit and spend much of our time outdoors in beautiful Colorado. If you are ever in the Denver area, drop me a line!!

Are We Having A Reunion? Hello. This blog is to post information so that we can reach as many classmates as possible for the 20th Reunion. If you know where someone is located please post or add a comment. The idea of this blog is to share the work of figuring out how to get a hold of people for the 20th Reunion which will occur in 2006. If you would like to be able to post (instead of just comment) let me know and I can turn that feature on for you.

My family and I live in North Logan, Utah where I am Realtor. My wife Keely and I have eight children (3 Boys & 5 Girls).

I hear from Tony Sorensen and Terry Smith from time to time.

Cheers,
